Sei donne per l'assassino

More cult today. Mario Bava's Sei donne per l'assassino (or simply "Blood and Black Lace") is a no nonsense underground classic and the forefather of the Giallo films and American Slasher subgenre.

Although the acting is not brilliant and in some places will bring about laughter where it was not intended ditto the actions of some of the victims. Visually however, this may be one of the most stunning films you will ever get to see. Sei Donne Per L'Assassino is probably one of the most influential cult flicks in Italy and is not to be missed by anybody who considers himself/ herself a fane of the cult genre.

Plot: Isabella, a young model is murdered by a mysterious masked figure at a boarding house run by Max Morlacchi and his lover Countess Cristiana Como. When Isabella's boyfriend is suspected of the kiilling, her diary, which apparently has some incriminating evidence linking her to the kiiller, dissapears, the masked kililer begins kiilling off all the models in and around the house to find the diary (IMDB).
